Rick Altmann, the fatty behind "Ethan" J.R. Reynolds (seen on the left), is a fucking con man. He stole thousands of dollars from me when I was just 22 years old and tried to put his fat, greasy, smelly hands on me. What kind of grown man steals money from a fucking college kid? That is the lowest of the low. And for that, RICK, may you burn in hell.
The reason I'm making this blog page is because I've recently run across other stories online involving JR (I know him as JR, others apparently know him as Ethan Reynolds) and the scam artist "man behind the curtain," Rick Altmann. From what I've gathered, Rick is still up to his same old shit, conning more young guys the same way he conned me--using "Ethan" as a ploy. Now that the public is onto him, I thought I'd come forward and share my experience with this total waste of human skin (and A LOT of skin at that).
Here's what I know about Rick: He's incredibly manipulative. He uses the internet to disguise himself as others in order to gain the attention of (and then scam) young guys who are WAAAAY out of his league. I first met Rick on AOL where he was pretending to be JR "Ethan" Reynolds. Of course I thought at the time I was talking to JR, not the morbidly obese Rick Altmann. It was all just a ploy to draw me in. The old "bait and switch." Long story short, he talked to me as "JR" for some time before gradually introducing his real, smooth-talking self to me as JR's roommate (he never did admit to chatting with me as JR but I now know for a fact it was him all along). He was extremely charismatic and told me everything I wanted to hear, more or less promising me the world. I remember having that "this is too good to be true" alarm going off in the back of my mind, but I was only 22 and chose to ignore it...looking back, I wanted to believe everything he told me. Of course nothing he told me ever came true.
After talking to Rick (and who I thought was JR) for some time online, I did eventually meet them both in person. I was shocked, however, to find that real life JR was NOTHING at all like the JR I'd come to know online (because he wasn't the guy I'd been chatting with!). Online, JR was very intelligent, funny and charismatic, while the real life JR (Ethan) Reynolds I met was shy, pouty, non-talkative, very immature and certainly didn't come across as being all that intelligent. And although I'm not a fan of the kid after having met him, I still find Rick's manipulation of JR incredibly sick and wrong. JR/Ethan apparently had a not-so-great childhood (or so I'm told) and I believe Rick preyed on that. JR was almost like Rick's little bitch. Rick controlled him. I even found out they slept in the same room together (on bunk beds!) at Rick's mom & dad's house. Oh, by the way Rick--if you read this--are you still living with mommy and daddy over on Margarita Avenue in Henderson? I know a lot more about you than you think, bitch.
Rick would eventually devise a plan to steal thousands of dollars from me, and once he had my money he disappeared without a trace. Well Rick, the jig is up. Shame on you for what you did to me and again may you burn in hell for scamming me and these other guys I'm now reading about online. One thing I'll never understand is why you can't just use all that time and energy you spend scamming people and make money in an honest way? You're a smart guy, why do you have to resort to scamming innocent COLLEGE KIDS in order to make money? It's not like you couldn't use your brain to make money LEGALLY! What the fuck is your problem? Wait...I think I know what your problem is. You're a gambling addict.
Watch your back, fat ass. One of these days your karma is gonna creep up and knock the living shit out of you, if it hasn't already. Hope it was worth having to run from me for the rest of your life! You're gonna have to EARN that money you stole from me!
